New methods for Biodiesel and Unknown Sample Distillation unveiled
Nov 17 2010
GRABNER INSTRUMENTS announces the implementation of new distillation methods in its automatic and portable MINIDIS ADXpert distillation analyzer. The analyzer offers new methods for accurate distillation of BIODIESEL B100 and UNKNOWN SAMPLES, which can now be measured without prior selection of distillation groups.
Thanks to full automation, a fast thermocouple temperature regulation, the small sample size and an accurate volume detection, MINIDIS ADXpert is capable to distill even problematic samples to the endpoint, without erroneous recovery readings. The new method for unknown samples allows measurement of samples without selecting a distillation group. The B100 method is designed for accurate measurements of pure biodiesel.
Due to the advanced temperature regulation even “problematic” samples, like mining solvents, condensates and raffinates can be accurately analyzed. The new fully automatic cleaning program automatically removes tenacious residuals, eliminates tiresome manual flask cleaning and guarantees best sample throughput for highest productivity.
The new distillation programs are typical GRABNER INSTRUMENTS style: Select the program, press “RUN” and let the instrument guide you through the distillation process. No prior distillation knowledge is required!
