Range of Coulometric Titrators is Growing Again
Apr 02 2014
GR Scientific (UK) have added to their Aquamax KF range of Coulometric Karl Fischer titrators with three models now to choose from.
All models offer fast and precise titration of samples with a water content range of 1ppm to 100%.
The Aquamax KF Eco is an entry level instrument which combines simplicity and robustness and is suitable for routine applications. Complete with a low cost glass titration vessel and electrodes supplied with or without frit.
The Aquamax KF Plus offers greater versatility and functionality. This coulometer has a built in printer and includes low drift glassware which has a unique locking system allowing the joints to seal completely without the use of grease or PTFE sleeves thus improving baseline stability. Substances that release water only at elevated temperatures, are poorly insoluble or very viscous may require use of an oven. The Aquamax KF Plus has the capability to link up to evaporators for oil or solid samples and to LPG sampling systems.
The Aquamax KF Oil has been designed for water content determination of oil and petroleum products in the field. It is a truly portable unit using the same low drift glassware as the Plus but incorporates an A2 stainless steel cage which has excellent corrosion resistance and protects the glassware from breakages. A unique carry handle fixed to the coulometer and separate carry case allows ease of transportation from site to site. To be truly portable, you, the user, should be able to carry the instrument with just one hand whilst operating.
