Aiming for Expansion and Accreditation in Proficiency and Performance Testing

It is imperative that accurate and precise CRMs are used as the basis for calibration of analytical instruments. DCG Partnership, LTD. takes pride in every step of the CRM manufacturing process and is accredited to both ISO 17025 for the analysis and certification of hydrocarbons and chemicals and ISO Guide 34 for the manufacture of hydrocarbon and chemical CRMs.

Every procedure, from the initial selection of the raw product, to the meticulous blending of the gases or liquids, to the complete final analysis and certification of the completed product is carefully monitored to assure quality. This year, 2015, is an exciting year as preparations are being made to meet the ISO 17043 requirements for Proficiency Testing Conformity Assessment. Once this conformity assessment is completed, a triple certification of CRMs will be awarded.

A Performance Testing Program (PTP) is the next logical step to be taken as companies are ready to connect with the expanded guidance of the DCG Partnership technical experts who enable them to become “Best-in-Class” through teamwork and innovation with a focus on client satisfaction. Support is provided to address business-critical aspects of customer operations which offers an enterprise-wide impact on total operation, and products and services are recommended as an important part of the total package.

In order to meet the demand for improved analytical results, DCG Partnership has designed and implemented a rigorous Performance Testing Program to verify the analytical performance of clients’ gas chromatographs and on-line analysers. Gravimetrically and analytically verified “blind” samples are supplied to laboratories or process analyser departments on a quarterly basis for verification of their analytical results. The Certificate of Concentration for all samples and all statistically prepared performance data are provided to the customers’ appointed designee(s) to assure confidentiality. The PTP has been enriched by experience gained through working with ASTM, GPA, and API.

Because of the extensive experience in CRM preparation, ampoule CRMs, analytical standard performance, PTP’s with ASTM, GPA, and a range of energy and chemical industry clients, DCG Partnership has been invited to prepare a PTP program for many companies who can be considered the key global players in the (petro)chemical industry.
