Vapor pressure testing with eralytics’ ERAVAP: The ultimate combination for unmatched precision and performance
Apr 15 2025
Since its introduction, eralytics ERAVAP series has redefined vapor pressure measurement. It has expanded from a single model to a comprehensive product line covering vapor pressure testing applications for fuels, crude oil, LPG, solvents, fragrances or aqueous solutions, as well as real-time monitoring in industrial environments. Its uncompromising commitment to innovation and compliance with international standards such as ASTM D5191, D6378 and D6897 have made ERAVAP an unrivalled tool in laboratories, refineries and research facilities worldwide.
One of ERAVAP’s greatest strengths is its versatility. The device can analyze a wide range of substances, including all types of fuels, liquefied petroleum gases (LPG), solvents and even fragrances.
In addition to the standard model, the all-round vapor pressure tester ERAVAP, eralytics has developed various models tailored to special applications. The ERAVAP for LPG is optimized for high-pressure LPG measurements up to 2000 kPa, complies with ASTM D6897 and covers a temperature range from 0 °C to 120 °C. It can measure gasoline and crude oil according to the most common standard test methods (ASTM D5191, D6377, D6378, D5188, EN 13016). ERAVAP for crude oil is the leading solution for high-precision vapor pressure and density testing (ASTM D4052) of live and dead crude oils according to ASTM D6377, IP 481 and GOST R 52340. Its unique cell design enables high shaking speeds, ensuring unsurpassed accuracy and short measurement times. The process vapor pressure tester ERAVAP ONLINE goes one step further, providing vapor pressure measurements with laboratory precision in industrial environments, with certifications for hazardous area operation. It measures according to the latest standards such as ASTM D6378, D6897 and D6377. Communication protocols include analog and digital I/O and Modbus. Multiple sample input streams make it a versatile tool for refineries, blending stations and terminals.
In addition to its versatility, ERAVAP convinces with outstanding technical features. It is known for vapor pressure testing with unmatched precision and speed over the wide temperature range from -20 °C to 120 °C (4 °F to 248 °F), ensuring accurate results in varying conditions. Next to vapor pressure testing it features an integrated density measurement, allowing simultaneous vapor pressure and density measurement with one single analyzer, streamlining workflows, and enhancing efficiency. This integrated ultra-light (< 1 kg!) density meter module (patented) offers density measurements in full compliance with ASTM D4052 & ISO 12185 (r = 0.00001 g/cm3). Despite its advanced technology, ERAVAP is a compact and robust, yet easy to use vapor pressure tester with an intuitive touchscreen interface and automated functions that reduce training time and minimize errors. A small footprint and true portability even with an attached 10-position autosampler make it the ideal choice for both laboratory and field applications, providing flexibility without compromising performance.
Throughout its development, ERAVAP has consistently pushed the boundaries of vapor pressure analysis, setting new benchmarks in accuracy, speed, and ease of use. By combining state-of-the-art technology with practical usability, eralytics has created an instrument that meets the evolving needs of industries worldwide. Whether ensuring regulatory compliance, improving product quality, or advancing research, ERAVAP continues to be the gold standard in vapor pressure testing.
