Flash point
A solution for every flash point testing application

eralytics THE NEXT ERA flash point testers are known for their safe, fast and precise measurements and provide a flash point solution for every application. All ERAFLASH flash point testers use the inherently safe CCCFP – Continuously Closed Cup Flash Point methods ASTM D6450, ASTM D7094 and IP 620 and meet the highest safety standards.
With different models and unique measuring options, eralytics offers a solution over the broadest possible measuring range from -40°C to 420°C. With their advanced technology and user-friendly interface, eralytics testers enable easy integration into existing safety protocols, helping to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. eralytics’ analysers are suitable for many applications such as used oils, fresh oils, fuels and biodiesel (FAME), fuel dilution, tar, asphalt and bitumen, paints & varnishes, pulverised and liquid waste.
eralytics’ standard ERAFLASH Flash Point Tester is the allrounder for flash point testing in many different industries for all kinds of liquids. Measurements can be performed within the temperature range from -25 °C to 420 °C.
The ERAFLASH S10 10-position flash point autosampler is ideal when a high sample workload is required. With a low sample volume of only 1 mL or 2 mL, it is the perfect solution for high-throughput laboratories and takes up very little laboratory space. Measurements can be carried out within the temperature range from -25 °C to 420 °C.
The cooling star of the eralytics’ range is the ERAFLASH LT low-temperature flash point tester, which is the perfect choice if samples with flash points below ambient temperature or even below 0 °C are measured. The stacked Peltier design allows measurements within the temperature range from -40 °C to 120 °C. The cooling rates are much faster than in any other instrument on the market.
The newest addition to the ERAFLASH flash point tester series is the ERAFLASH X; the future-proof replacement for ASTM D93 Pensky-Martens testers. Tailored for the petroleum industry, all kinds of liquids can be tested over the wide temperature range of 18 °C to 370 °C using only 2 mL of sample. Full compliance with the ASTM D7094 and IP 620 flash point standards brings 100% safety, unrivalled speed, and best-in-class precision to your laboratory. With ERAFLASH X, a typical ASTM D7094 diesel measurement is performed in less than 12 min, which is two times faster than a traditional D93 Pensky-Martens test. This enables up to 5 complete flash point tests per hour with ERAFLASH X.
In contrast to the Pensky-Martens testers, the ERAFLASH flash point tester series uses the inherently safe CCCFP (Continuously Closed Cup Flash Point) method. This method does not use an open flame and requires only 1 mL or 2 mL of sample, which is sealed in a closed chamber throughout the measurement.
During the measurement, an electric arc ignites the sample vapour in a closed chamber and the analyser determines the flash point based on the pressure change in the closed cup. This inherently safe CCCFP design guarantees maximum safety in the laboratory and makes flash point testing extremely easy.
All ERAFLASH flash point testers use the patented, innovative PBT – Peltier Boost Technology®. This technology allows unmatched heating and cooling power, which, in combination with the low sample volume, decreases the turnaround time significantly for flash point testing. Additionally, PBT enables the ERAFLASH flash point tester series to cover a temperature range of -25 °C to 420 °C within one single analyser.
eralytics’ flash point testers are the most precise for all kinds of liquids. As proven by the latest ASTM interlaboratory flash point study, ASTM D7094-23 offers best-in-class precision over the widest temperature range and for the broadest range of samples.
