Sulphur analysis
An ideal solution for ultra‐low sulphur in fuels
Dec 27 2019
Designed for ultraâ€lowâ€level sulphur analysis of diesel, petrol (gasoline) and other fuels, the Rigaku Microâ€Z ULS wavelength dispersive Xâ€ray fluorescence (WDXRF) instrument features a novel design that measures both the sulphur peak and the background intensity. The ability to measure and correct changes in background intensity delivers a better net peak intensity measurement, resulting in superior calibrations and enhanced realâ€world precision. The Rigaku Microâ€Z ULS complies with ASTM 2622â€10, ISO 20884 and JIS K2541â€7 methods.
The Rigaku Microâ€Z ULS is the ideal solution for sulphur analysis of petroleumâ€based fuels, with a lower limit of detection (LLD) of 0.3 ppm sulphur. Employing robust fixed optics in a vacuum environment, and featuring a specially designed doubly curved RXâ€9 analysing crystal, the Micro Z ULS delivers consistent high sensitivity measurements. This instrument is specifically designed for non-technical users, all operations, from calibration through routine analysis, can be performed via the easyâ€toâ€use interface. Moreover, the analyser can be powered by any standard “wall” AC outlet.
