The new standard for portable gas detection

Mar 21 2018

GfG’s G888 & G999 personal gas monitors offer reliability, durability, flexibility together with ATEX performance test approval for the standard 5-gas version.

Features include a top display, 180° rotatable, the GfG “Traffic Light” instrument status, IP67 rating and the loudest audible alarm in a personal gas monitor, 103dB

For pre-entry testing of Confined Spaces or for those difficult to get to areas, the pumped G999 can be used with a telescopic probe or tubing and float system. The G999 indicates flow rate and the sampling distance to a maximum of 300m, so, no more marking the tubing or guesswork involved when sampling different stratification levels in a confined space. Selecting sampling or diffusion mode is made quick and easy by the sliding switch.

The optional wireless functionality offers remote, real time, instrument status together with a “Man Down”, no motion alarm indication. Available for 868MHz (open field to 700m) and 915MHz (open field to 300m). This can be monitored remotely via PC or locally with the unique GfG-Link instrument which can be worn by a supervisor indicating the status of up to 10 individual devices in the catchment area.
