The GMA200-MW16: a powerful controller for gas detection systems
Feb 20 2024
GfG’s GMA200-MW16 is a reliable controller for use in complex fixed gas detection systems across a variety of applications. It can be connected to up to 16 digital or analog transmitters to ensure that dangerous gas concentrations don’t go unnoticed and evacuation or safety measures can be initiated immediately.
Advanced technology in sturdy, wall-mounted housing
The reliable GMA200-MW16 is an ideal central control unit for complex systems as it can be connected to up to 16 digital or analog transmitters and controls safety measures using its internal relays. The IP65 wall-mounted housing it is enclosed in protects the controller from external influences, even in challenging conditions.
The current measured values are indicated on its integrated 2.2’’ display, giving you a quick and easy way to assess the situation on-site. In the event of an alarm, the display’s background color will change while the 15 status LEDs will indicate the alarm level and relay activation. The loud (100 dB(A)) integrated buzzer will provide an acoustic warning to everyone in the vicinity.
Our GMAConfig software allows for intuitive configuration of the device. The controller can also permanently store information on measured values, average values, alarms, faults and other events on a microSD card for long-term evaluation (optional).
To better tailor the controller to your operation’s requirements and facilitate everyday tasks, GfG offers optional add-ons. They include additional relay modules (up to four modules with 16 relays each), a visualization software for monitoring data or an uninterruptible power supply.
The GMA200-MW16 is of course SIL (2/3) certified.
Customize your GMA200-MW16 to suit your requirements
Versatility is where the GMA200 truly shines:
Your application requires more than the six internal programmable relays?
Their number can be increased to up to 70!
You need to connect analog transmitters either on 0.2-1 mA or 4-20 mA lines?
Both options are available! And in addition to that, digital transmitters can be connected using the RS-485 interface.
You need to monitor the oxygen concentration in addition to measuring toxic and flammable gases? No problem at all!
Our controllers are flexible and can be adapted to suit your application and its specific requirements perfectly.
