Poseidon Systems’ Trident QM3150 and QW3150 Oil Quality Monitors, which have been designed for use in hazardous locations, specifically classified as Class 1 Division 2. These devices use state-of-the-art real-time, in-line sensing technology to provide continuous insight into the health state of lubricating fluids. By utilising advanced electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) technology, this monitor precisely measures a fluid's impedance spectrum, enabling a comprehensive assessment of the lubricant's additive package health, breakdown monitoring and contaminant identification.
A key feature of the Trident QM3150 is its integrated water-in-oil sensor. This sensor performs a direct measurement of dissolved water content in the lubricant, providing crucial information for preventive maintenance strategies.
