ATEX/ IECEx liquid level sensor – now available with Bureau Veritas Marine Type Approval

Aug 23 2018

With several customers approaching them and an ever growing demand for safety at sea, Deeter Electronics, a designer and manufacturer of ATEX/ IECEx liquid level sensors for several years, have expanded their repertoire furthermore by adding Bureau Veritas Marine Type Approval to their F/S-FP Series level sensors.

By pushing their boundaries even further, certification was granted to allow the manufacture of these sensors up to six metres in length, and with up to 7 customisable switching points. With an operating temperature range of between -55°C and 190°C, and tolerating operating pressures of up to 31Bar, this abatable and versatile sensor ensures that your specific requirements can be met.

Manufactured in 316L stainless steel, this IP68 rated explosion proof level sensor is vertically installed and offers a range of custom mounting options. It reliably detects the liquid level and offers voltage free contact operation, ideally suited for use as part of a pump control system or high/low level alarm signalling.

Due to the certification and design options available, the F/S-FP Series liquid level sensor is a cost-efficient unit which allows for easy installation, especially as there is no requirement for any calibration. As they demand little to no maintenance, they provide the reliable performance their customers require in hazardous environments, reducing the need for operational down-time and increasing productivity.

Deeter’s team of engineers and specialist manufacturers, working alongside each other in their UK based headquarters, also allows for incredibly quick turn-arounds, with custom designed sensors often available within a week.
