Flow Level Pressure
New Brochure for Oil and Gas Bulk Measurements
Jan 20 2014
Krohne, Inc. (USA), a global technology leader in the development, manufacture and distribution of accurate, reliable and cost effective measuring instruments for the process industries, announces the availability of a new publication outlining a range of superior flow measurement solutions for the oil and gas industry, based on Krohne’s Optimass product line. Ideal for every type of oil and gas bulk measurement and custody transfer application, the Optimass line includes meters with both straight and bent tube designs.
Optimass 2300, the first choice for bulk flows and for custody transfer, is available in both duplex and super duplex versions. With its twin straight tube design, the Optimass 2300 lends itself particularly to applications with limited installation space. It is available in 3 sizes: DIN100 (4-inches), DNG150 (6-inches), and DN250 (10-inches).
Also available is the Optimass 6400, the new standard, high performance meter for the process industry, offering the highest accuracy for mass flow and density. The new Optimass 6400 Coriolis mass flowmeter for liquids and gases is ideal for handling high temperature, high pressure and cryogenic applications from -200°C to +400°C (-328°F to 752°F). The Optimass 6400 features up to seven measuring functions in a single device, making it possible to measure mass flow rate, mass counter, density, temperature, volume flow rate, volume counter, and concentration of fluids and gases.
The Optimass 6400 is equipped with the new MFC 400 mass flow signal converter that features advanced device and process diagnostics, offering high performance with air entrainment, excellent zero stability and advanced density measurement.
For abrasive, corrosive, or viscous fluids, Krohne offers the Optimass 7000 series, an award-winning single straight tube Coriolis mass flow meter designed to measure mass flow, density, temperature and concentration of both liquids and gases with maximum accuracy in notoriously difficult applications. Available in titanium, stainless steel, Hastelloy or tantalum, the Optimass 7000 provides corrosion resistance for almost any process fluid.
Also highlighted is the Optimass 3300, the best solution for extremely low flow rates, and the Optimass 1300, ideal for general purpose applications in the process industry.
