In Line Conductivity Meter Provides High Precision, Real Time Measurement of Fuels in Transfer
Jan 21 2010
D-2 Incorporated (USA) is pleased to introduce our popular JF-1A in-line fuel conductivity sensor. In Line Conductivity sensors provide extremely high precision, real time measurement of fuel in transfer. In-line conductivity measurement, rather than hand sampling, provides significant benefit to operators by offering the ability to continuously measure conductivity, thereby assuring continuous compliance with conductivity level requirements. The JF-1A is certified for use in ASTM D2624, and also is certified for use in ATEX Zone 1 Hazardous Environments (also certified for Class 1, Division 1 areas).
The JF-1A can be connected to any existing or new DCS system to provide a continuous record of product conductivity levels, for reporting purposes, eliminating the requirement for labour-intensive hand sampling and manual record keeping. The JF-1A can also be tied into a Static Dissipative Additive Injection System to allow real time control of the injection by conductivity. Thus ensuring you are properly injecting and mixing your fuel lines with SDA additive and not over injecting additive due to flow variations. These sensors are designed to easily pull in and out of a fuel line with a fully retractable mount through a standard 1” NPT Port. D-2 Incorporated can also provide handheld conductivity meters for ASTM D2624, and they have a fully automated digital Hydro-Light Water Pad Analyser for ASTM D3240.
