New Series of Simultaneous Analysers for Oxygen, Nitrogen and Hydrogen
Jun 02 2010
Motivated by the tremendous success in sales as well as increase in market share for its elemental analyzers including the EMIA for Carbon/Sulfur and the prior EMGA Series for Oxygen, Nitrogen and Hydrogen, Horiba Scientific (France) undertook a large development program to create a new generation of automated analyzers.
The new EMGA-930 series was designed to better meet the requirements of modern users. Several innovations in detectors were used to achieve very good sensitivity resulting in the world’s most precise instrument (SD less than 0.020 ppm for O/N) combined with the widest analytical range (up to 5%O and 3%N for 1g sample).
In addition, with the EMGA-930 series, the “fully integrated” policy leads to an instrument that is easy and simple to operate. The standard automation system (auto cleaner/crucible loader) and “user-friendly software” including the “Maintenance Navigator” will facilitate all operations and reduce the variation in results between operators. On top of this, it is a total “hands clean” instrument with no need to touch graphite crucibles and no contact with carbon dust anymore.
The new EMGA maintains the key features of the previous generation which made it so popular, i.e., Double introduction mechanism, Full traceability, Simple and Powerful software, Programmable temperature curve, Automatic data export etc....
Whether you are working for quality control in the steel industry or in an R&D laboratory for new materials, energy …, the EMGA 930 Series ONH elemental analyzers will give you very accurate, repeatable and reliable results while saving time and resources.
