SENSOR + TEST - finally back in Nuremberg

There are less than 100 days to go until SENSOR + TEST opens its doors in Nuremberg; organiser Holger Bödeker is extremely positive about this year's event, despite the ongoing Corona restrictions.

Welcome to the Innovation Dialog! - is the motto and from May 10 to 12, 2022 the SENSOR+TEST event will focus on the measuring, testing and monitoring tasks in all industrial sectors - from the sensor to evaluation.

"We will finally be able to welcome our exhibitors and visitors back to the exhibition halls in May after a forced break of three years," said Holger Bödeker, "According to current status, we expect more than 300 exhibitors in halls 1 and 2 of the Nuremberg Exhibition Center this year. Of course, this does not bring us up to the numbers of the 2019 show and before Corona, but against the background of global uncertainties and economic problems, this is a respectable level and shows that SENSOR+TEST has lost none of its appeal even after the pandemic. After all, especially for our small and medium-sized companies, the return to a presence trade fair this year is more important than ever to strengthen and expand contacts with active and potential customers."

The extensive supporting program, which has been an important aspect of SENSOR+TEST over the years, will once again be complemented by a high-level lecture forum in 2022. Mr Bödeker comments: "The quality continues to be very high due to the professional examination of the submissions, from which above all the visitors of the trade fair will benefit." Thus, interested parties can already look forward to a highly attractive program. The whole thing is rounded off by the Career Center, where engineers and students of technical disciplines can get tips on applications and careers from HR professionals.

SENSOR+TEST 2022 provides suppliers and end-users time and space for dialogue about new ideas, products and solutions for key applications including the measured variables of our environment and the vast range of data from industrial processes. Organisations who specialise in digitisation can showcase their expertise at the "Sensor and Measuring Technology for the Digital World" special forum.

Local, state-subsidised participation in the "Innovation Made in Germany" will enable new companies to display their technology, along with some of the world’s most established manufacturers. Other joint stands have been arranged by research communities such as Bayern Innovativ, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and the Strategic Partnership for Sensor Technology.

Sensors and sensor systems for the Internet of Things will be high on the agenda for 21. ITG/GMA-Fachtagung Sensoren und Messsysteme, which will be organized in rotation on the first 2 days of the event by the Informationstechnische Gesellschaft im VDE (ITG) in collaboration with the VDI/VDE-Gesellschaft Mess- und Automatisierungstechnik (GMA). The conference will also discuss new measurement systems developments, how they work, and system-related multi-sensor technology..

The ettc2022 European Test and Telemetry Conference will take place at the same time in hall 2. This is arguably the most important international conference for telemetry, telecontrol, test instrumentation and data processing and will take place for the fifth time in conjunction with SENSOR+TEST. Participants will see for themselves the importance of telemetry technologies for a wide range of applications in current trending industrial developments such as IoT, Big Data, Wireless or UAVs/drones.
