Online Training Videos for Multi-Gas Monitor Released
Apr 21 2008
A 19-minute online video gives a general overview of the MX6 iBrid⢠multi-gas monitor, as well as its features and operation. This training tool combines video footage with voiceover to guide the viewer through topics like menu navigation, remote sampling, datalogging and calibration. The video is divided into 17 tutorials for easy navigation and reference. The video is available on Industrial Scientificâs Web site at http://www.indsci.com/services/MX6_Video_English.aspx.
A professional online training course is also available for the MX6, offering a much more in-depth look at the worldâs first gas monitor with a full-color display. It is also available on Industrial Scientificâs Web site at http://www.indsci.com/services/onlineMX6course.aspx.
âWeâve really captured the face-to-face classroom experience by combining the video, voiceover and slide presentation,â said Davie Kuiawa, Director of Training. âThis format not only makes the course accessible to anyone, 24 hours a day, seven days a week; it gives students a convenient way to go back and review specific sections. The result is that students will increase their understanding of any course topic.â
The course features nearly three hours of instruction divided into eight self-paced modules. The modules cover everything from the proper use and operation of the MX6, to specific topics like gas sensor technology and confined space entry procedures. Kuiawa stated that the variety of topics covered in the MX6 online training modules offer something for everyone. âAnyone looking to sell, buy, maintain or use an MX6 will find one or several of the modules helpful to them,â he said.
