Highly advanced thermal analysis software for R&D applications

Teledyne FLIR have announced the release of FLIR Research Studio 3.0, the latest version of its renowned thermal analysis software. With enhanced features designed to meet the needs of researchers, engineers, and science professionals, Research Studio 3.0 offers unparalleled flexibility and ease of use for a wide range of advanced applications, including electronics design, high-speed testing, target signature analysis, and more.

Research Studio 3.0 simplifies the process of viewing, recording, and analysing thermal data from multiple cameras, recordings, or images, allowing users to create custom analyses and trigger recordings based on regions of interest. The software also offers user calibration and non-uniformity correction functions, as well as an emissivity calculator, ensuring that users can accurately characterise their thermal data to support critical decision-making.

One of the key features of Research Studio 3.0 is its floating camera controller, which allows users to control their FLIR cameras with ease while viewing live image streams or critical graphs. The software also supports a wide range of FLIR cameras, providing users with unmatched flexibility in their thermal analysis workflow.

With Research Studio Pro 3.0, users can perform custom calibrations of their cameras and fix non-uniformity issues, resulting in more accurate and reliable data. New measurement functions allow users to create custom formulas using input from anywhere in the program, which can then be displayed and utilised in other parts of the software, providing enhanced analysis capabilities.

Research Studio is available in 21 different languages and can be operated on MacOS, Windows, and Linux platforms, making it a versatile solution for global teams. The software features a user-friendly interface with familiar touchscreen icons, single menu layers, and informative tooltips, allowing users of all levels to easily navigate and collaborate with their teammates.
