New Range of Laser Gas Analysers
Nov 11 2009
Servomex (UK) has announced the launch of the Servotough Laser gas range, a series of high performance gas analysers that use the latest extractive and cross-stack technologies that are ideal for continuous in-situ monitoring.
The Servotough Laser analysers are the first Servomex products to benefit from a recently signed strategic partnership with Norweigan elctro optic specialists Norsk Elektro Optikk (NEO) to incorporate its Tuneable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS) technology as a complementary technique to Servomex’s world leading paramagnetic, zirconium oxide and infra red technologies. The result is an analyser that combines NEO’s precision technologies within a rugged and resistant Servomex design, resulting in the best solution for in-situ cross stack measurements in extreme or harsh environments.
Able to detect a wide range of gases including O2, HCl, HF, NH3, CO, CO2, H2O, H2S, HCN, NO, N2O, CH4 and other hydrocarbons, the Laser range offers a fast response time, highly stable performance and minimum sample conditioning requirements with no moving parts and consumables, making it suitable for a wide range of emissions control and process and combustion control applications.
Servotough Laser analysers are therefore ideal for use in a wide range of industries including chemical and petroleum processing, steel, aluminium and other non-ferrous metal producers, power generation and waste incineration. Typical applications includes usage in emission control systems for scrubber and abatement plants, combustion control systems for boilers or waste incinerators and slippage control in deNOx plants.
