Pilot ONE®: Temperature control made easy
Nov 21 2012
Users in the lab get the right temperature just with the simple touch. The new Pilot ONE touchscreen controller, with which most Huber devices are equipped effective immediately, ensures this. Many temperature control tasks in the research laboratory, material testing or in the process industry are now easy to handle with the new multi-touch controller.
Huber is equipping its temperature control devices with the newly developed Pilot ONE touchscreen controller. The new controller fits all Unistats, Unichillers and Compatible Control heating/cooling circulators. The Pilot ONE has a modern touchscreen interface in the style of current tablets or smartphones is now integrated into the Huber product range. This not only facilitates operation but also has benefits for data recording or remote control with its integrated connections for USB and networks. Thus, for example, temperature measurement data can be saved directly on a USB stick. The USB connection also allows a connection to a PC or notebook. Requirements such as remote control or data transmission can be met easily and in a cost-effective manner in conjunction with the Huber Spy Software. The Ethernet port additionally provides connection to LAN networks, wherein the data communication can occur directly via existing networks without any additional cabling. It can be easily removed enabling it to be used as a remote control.
The newly designed user interface and the large 5.7" TFT touchscreen makes daily work on the system easier and more time-saving. Simple menu icons and comfort functions such as 2-finger zoom, graphic temperature curves, wipe gesture control, technology glossary and an adjustable favourites menu. An example of this is the main screen can be switched to an alternative view by only swiping with a finger, e. g. for a large display of the temperature values. Another advantage on Huber devices has been the proven E-grade concept, which allows the activation of additional device functions using optional upgrade packages. This allows the devices can grow with or adapt to changed application requirements. Due to the unique Plug & Play technology, the controller is immediately backwards compatible to older models. This feature enables users of Huber temperature control devices to modernise their existing machines easily and cost effectively.
The complete Huber product range is being converted immediately to the new Pilot ONE. All machines which were previously equipped with the Unistat-Pilot or CC-Pilot will be equipped with the Pilot ONE in the future - at no added cost!
