New Gas Detection Digital Modbus Wall Mount Controller
May 20 2010
New and Award Winning Gas Detection Digital Modbus RTU Wall Mount Controller, TA-2016MB-WM designed and manufactured by Mil-Ram Technology (USA) features a 16-channel system utilising RS-485 Modbus RTU Multi-drop smarter Transmitter (Sensor) Network. Four relays (SPST), 10 Amp. are common to all channels. Select latching or non-latching function. Low, Mid, High, Fault relays. LED alarm indicators. Local buzzer.
This detector offers various options such as remote relay Modules, Modbus compatibility and it can be installed at any point on RS-485 network. Mil-Ram’s new instrument can have up to 16 modules per network and up to 16 different zones. The user can conveniently install relays at point of use, which eliminates long wiring runs between relays and field installed alarms. The instrument’s Remote Analogue Output Module provides discrete analogue 4-20mA output (16 bit resolution) per channel, whilst its Remote Digital Output Module provides RS-485 Modbus RTU interface to a Centralised System (e.g. PLC). The Analogue Input Module connects to standard 4-20mA Transmitters where traditional analogue installation is preferred. This unit has a backlit 16 characters on 2 lines LCD display, auto-scrolls to provide channel data and fault conditionals and an indicator of alarm status. Users will enjoy a simple non-intrusive setup using magnet. the Auto-Configuration wizard provides rapid channel setup without special knowledge. This instrument is available in Nema 4x weatherproof polycarbonate or explosion-proof enclosures. Continuous Diagnostics, an 8-channel wall mount controller, external alarm stations and wireless are all options that are available for this instrument.
Use with any Mil-Ram Model TA-2100MB smarter gas detection transmitters, Toxic/LEL/VOC/Oxygen, which detect hundreds of different gases and vapours.
