Ready-to-Use, Approved Gas Detection System Is Ideal for Quick Implementation
Oct 19 2011
The Det-Tronics® Model GP16 Gas Panel is ideal for oil-and-gas facilities around the world. The system arrives on-site pre-configured to user specifications and has certifications to global standards as a combustible and/or toxic gas controller.
The GP16 Gas Panel is a pre-configured Eagle Quantum Premier® (EQP) System and includes a weather-resistant, steel enclosure that houses an EQP System controller loaded with pre-configured safety system software, a power supply, and up to two optional Analog Input Modules (AIMs) for communication with up to 16 detectors/devices. Gas detectors and other field devices are purchased as needed.
The enclosure door features a Pro-face Human-Machine Interface (HMI) touch screen that offers a clear, interactive window to system and device events. The screen enables users to assess gas levels, set parameters, see faults, and view logged data.
The touch screen and alarm sounder on the front of the panel offer fast display and annunciation of system conditions.
From ordering to installation, the process is quick, simple, and efficient.
Economical flexibility: Add field devices to create a system that fits the need. Any of these devices can be part of the system: combustible gas detectors, toxic gas detectors, and 4-20 mA devices.
Ready-to-use functionality: Set up is quick. As delivered to you, the S3 safety system software is pre-installed. Configuration is done on the touch screen. Simply connect the devices and calibrate them in the field. Use the front panel to access the parameter settings, see faults and real-time gas levels, view logged data, and more.
Approved reliability: Det-Tronics reliability is built into the economical, ready-to-use GP16 Gas Panel package. Each component and device in the field carries approvals to industry standards. As needed, services are available to enhance the system capabilities.
