ATEX Approved Pressure Switches Offer Reliability and Versatility
Dec 09 2011
To benefit from the ever-increasing demand for explosion prevention components, component specialist Pyropress (UK) has developed the Hermes II, an innovative solution to industrial pressure switch applications for demanding and challenging environments which require fast, reliable and cost-effective solutions.
“Customers need to be sure that any components they are using in a hazardous area are both reliable and 100% safe”, explains Paul Maddern, Sales Manager at Pyropress. “We have developed the Hermes II so that it’s the most reliable and versatile pressure switch available on the market today” he adds. “The switch is fully ATEX certified making it suitable for a huge range of hazardous area applications”.
One of the benefits of the Hermes II switch is the ability to make set point adjustments in situ with the power on and the switch in operation. Paul explains, “Being able to make adjustments to the switch with the machine running is a huge benefit.”
“Many of the applications our product will be used in are running 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and removing downtime is fundamental for these customers”.
The Hermes II switch is fully customisable to meet your exact specification and application. It is low maintenance and is suitable for aggressive atmospheres due to its construction to IP67 standards. The pressure settings are available from 2 to 800 Bar and can be used up to 1000 Bar working pressure.
As well as the Hermes II, Pyropress offers an extensive range of switches, transmitters and valves suitable for Industrial, Intrinsically Safe and Flameproof applications. Building on their 60 years of experience in component solutions, the Hermes II is the very latest product in their long line of innovative and reliable designs concepts which are competitively priced, lightweight and durable.
