Emerson Introduces ELITE® High Capacity Coriolis Meter
Jun 18 2008
handling large volumes of product flow in the shortest time possible and at the same time require accurate measurement to deliver on legal metrology requirements such as MID.
Emersonâs Micro Motion Coriolis technology is well established for applications requiring precision measurement performance and reliability
with 0.10% mass and volume accuracy, and the highest turndown of any single flowmeter, all combined with a life density measurement allowing the user to convert to reference volume (V15).
The Micro Motion ELITE High Capacity Coriolis meter delivers unmatched performance and reliability to measurement applications typically requiring 8â (DIN200) or 10â (DIN250) process connections. With a maximum liquid flowcapacity of 2550metric tons per hour, maximum gas flow capacity of 5144 Nm3 of natural gas, and standard pressure ratings to 100 bar, this introduction dramatically expands the application
range of Micro Motion ELITE meters.
The Micro Motion ELITE High Capacity Coriolismeter has been tested with crude oil and other liquid and gas hydrocarbons in accordance with American Petroleum Institute (API) and American Gas Association (AGA) procedures. In addition, the Micro Motion ELITE High Capacity Coriolis is pursuing approval based on the European Measuring Instrument directive 2004/22/EC (MID) for gas meters (Annex MI-002) and liquids other than water (Annex MI-005) by the internationally respected Dutch metrology institute NMi.
With no moving parts, Emersonâs Micro Motion Coriolis meters are not
subject to wear or performance drift, thereby delivering the highest reliability, system integrity, long term solution that users require for high capacity custody transfer systems.
