Flow Level Pressure
Level Control with Enhanced Precision
Nov 24 2009
Sensor expert EGE (Germany) introduces the optimised MFM microwave sensor for continuous monitoring of a wide range of liquids. It enables precise detection of fill levels in small and large plastic or metal containers.
Thanks to coaxial technology, the maximum measurement error has been reduced to 3 mm. The fill level controller monitors a wide range of liquids such as water, oil, or emulsions. Inside the dip stick, microwaves are
emitted and reflected upon contact with the medium, allowing the sensor to determine the fill level. The units do not need to be adjusted to different media. Made of aluminum and stainless steel AISI 316Ti, MFM measuring probes are suited for ambient temperatures between -20 and +70 °C and pressures up to 6 bar. Users can choose any length between 500 and 2,000mm; standard length models of 500 and 1,100 mm are available. Featuring a G¾ thread, the sensors are connected via an M12 plug connection.
