Fixed Gas Detector receives ATEX Approval
Nov 16 2011
Oldham (France), an Industrial Scientific Company, is pleased to announce that the OLCT 10N fixed gas detector has been certified by INERIS and now carries the ATEX mark of approval. All versions have been certified IP65 and for use in zones 2 or 22, Group IIC or IIIC hazardous locations.
Designed for the detection of explosive gases (CH4, H2, C3H8 and C4H10), toxic gases (CO, NO, NO2, H2S and NH3) or oxygen, the OLCT 10N is a digital detector intended for use in combination with Oldham’s MX43 controller that can reap the full benefits of digital technology. The MX43 offers up to 32 detectors per line, toxic and explosive gases can be combined on the same line, semi-automatic calibration enabled and reduced wiring costs
Satisfying your safety requirements means making genuine technological breakthroughs as well as providing clear economic value. Thanks to a magnetized calibration cup the calibration can be done without opening the enclosure. This allows maintenance by a single person and significant reduction in costs.
Additionally, once the calibration is done, the OLCT 10N transmits the relevant data to the MX43 (such as date of calibration, span reserve or T90) and really makes your maintenance safe and efficient!
With a 2-year warranty, the OLCT 10N transmitter will provide reliability and extended life.
