OptiQuant Characterises Tough Unknowns

The OptiQuant™ X-ray analysis package extends the capabilities of the renowned UniQuant™ program for semi-quantitative analysis of  tough petroleum process unknowns: viscous liquids, bottoms, semi-solids, fragments, granules and built-up fines on process filters. Sample composition can span the whole periodic table or cover many oxidation states at levels from low parts per million to high percentages.

Such non-destructive sample characterisation for major and minor components is the first step to faster problem solving. With no sample standards required, OptiQuant automatically analyses for up to 73 elements including a balance for organic and ultralight components. Specially configured for use with the unique compact ARL OPTIM’X spectrometer, OptiQuant provides a cost-effective and flexible solution for tough petro analysis challenges.Thermo Scientific.
