Eliminate Solvent Prep Time with New TAN Titration Solvent
Oct 28 2013
Wouldn’t it be great to eliminate personnel time required to measure and mix solvents for Total Acid Number analysis? Well now you can.
ASTM D664 is the standard test method for determining acid number in petroleum products and requires preparation of a titration solvent consisting of a mixture of propan-2-ol, toluene and water. This reagent is used in the greatest of quantities when following ASTM D664 and therefore would need to be prepared frequently. GR Scientific (UK) now offer a pre-mixed titration solvent available in 2.5L and 1L bottles to improve precision, safety and productivity in your laboratory. The 1L sized bottle fits specifically in our MicroTAN OPS workstation.
GR Scientific's TAN solvent is manufactured under laboratory conditions accredited to ISO17025 and has a two year shelf life.
With many years of experience in the field of electrochemistry, GR Scientific offer a full support service and welcome the opportunity to discuss customer requirements.
