Preconfigured, out-of-the-box oil and gas LIMS offers comprehensive support for ISO/IEC 17025:2017 compliance and QA/QC processes
Sep 02 2020
CloudLIMS has introduced an out-of-the-box Oil and Gas LIMS purpose-built for the petrochemical and refining industries. CloudLIMS is preconfigured to support custom workflows of in-house and third-party contract laboratories involved in sample testing in upstream, midstream, and downstream phases of oil and gas production.
CloudLIMS, an in the cloud, petrochemical LIMS, is preconfigured to support laboratory-developed and standard analytical methods, such as ASTM and GPA, enabling oil and gas laboratories to seamlessly mirror their laboratory workflows, saving time-consuming and costly customisation. CloudLIMS is preloaded with reporting templates, enabling oil and gas testing labs to quickly go-live, enhancing operational efficiency, and increasing testing throughput. CloudLIMS offers configuration of unlimited custom CoAs to facilitate quick onboarding, enabling laboratories to meet the diverse reporting requirements.
CloudLIMS meets regulatory requirements and standards such as ISO/IEC 17025:2017, 21 CFR Part 11, EPA, GxP, and state regulations, such as California's air quality control standards. Users can streamline and manage Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) processes and QC results, ensure 100% traceability of raw materials, in-process, and final product samples in each phase of oil and gas production, visualise test results using statistical process control (SPC) charts and trend analysis graphs and maintain a read-only audit trail to track deviations and laboratory activities.
CloudLIMS offers complimentary unlimited instrument and software integration. CloudLIMS’ REST API is preconfigured to seamlessly integrate with analytical instruments used for oil and gas testing to automatically capture data, thereby facilitating interoperability, eliminating transcription errors, and minimizing turnaround time. CloudLIMS supports integration with various physical and chemical analysers, such as GC-MS, Inductively Coupled Plasma-Atomic Emission Spectrometers (ICP-AES), distillation equipment, trace metals analyzers, viscometers. Furthermore, the Rest API supports integration with third-party software such as ERP, Process Information Management System (PIMS), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and third-party billing software.
