86th GASG Meeting to examine developments in air quality monitoring
Nov 10 2023
Air quality will be the topic for the 2023 GASG 7th December meeting. Outdoor pollution in urban environments, and the measures taken to abate them, have become key political issues. The GASG meeting will include updates on the effects of poor air quality and highlight the latest air quality monitoring methods and technology.
Presentations from specialists in their field such as Frank Kelly, from Imperial College, who will discuss the impact specific pollutants have on the human body, Nick Martin, from National Physical Laboratory, who will focus on the validation of field sampling methods, Ehsan Danesh, from Adsentec who will talk about best practices in the design of sensor networks, Iq Mead, from Imperial College, who will describe the Breathe London sensor model and experience, and David Hagan from Quant AQ, who will look at the importance of particle sensors in air quality monitoring, promise to make this a highly informative event.
The 86th GASG meeting will take place at the City, University of London; participants will be offered plenty of opportunities to meet and interact with both the presenters and fellow attendees.
