Pranab Visiting Iran for Pipeline Talks

India and Iran are expected to discuss ways to break the logjam over the proposed trilateral gas pipeline project when the External Affairs Minister, Mr Pranab Mukherjee, meets the leadership of Iran during his three-day visit there beginning on Friday. The two sides will also discuss various other initiatives, particularly in the trade and business field, to enhance the bilateral ties. Mr Mukherjee will hold talks with his counterpart Mr Manouchehr Mottaki under the framework of Joint Commission meeting.
