Rugged, Lab Class Centrifuges for Hazardous Areas

LK Industries have been manufacturing test equipment for the oil industries since its foundation in 1930. In 1957 they produced their first centrifuge, which created and set many of the standards that the industries expect to see today.

The needs of lab operators focused on the precise heating of solvents and samples with LK’s Criterion Water Bath. They look after the truck drivers too, having designed a lightweight transport heater, which can heat up samples in as little time as 10 minutes. The high standards of manufacture and design ensure that their Laboratory Class1 Division 2 Hazardous Location Certified centrifuges offer lab results in tough conditions.

Their rugged steel Transport Series is available in 12VDC & 115VAC and is perfect for crude haulers. Users can choose from either standard or digital models and heated or non-heated. This model can perform larger sample testing because of its 4-place trunnion arm .

LK Industries’  state of the art Benchmark Series is the first centrifuge with Class I, Division 2 certification. This centrifuge is fully insulated and perfect for lab or refinery conditions with tube configurations 'C' (long cone) or 'D' (short cone) versions. With a new motor capable of 2300 RPM’s as well as real time temperature readings, this centrifuge offers unmatched accuracy.

LK’s Melton Centrifuge is the only one of its kind that offers heated cups for samples. This version can be used with 'A', 'B', 'C', or 'D' tube models and it includes a built-in mechanical tachometer for simple RPM readings. The Melton Centrfuge can operate with both 115VAC or 220VAC.

Finally, LK’s Light Duty centrifuges are perfect solutions where electricity un available. The light aluminum body is a 2-place unit that can be operated with 'A', 'B', or 'D' model tubes. The c-clamp can mount on to any flat surface.
