Powerful Temperature System for Reactors Up to 50 Litres
Jun 18 2008
temperature control system for demanding external temperature applications, like e.g. temperature control of reactors up to 50 litres. The advantages are rapid heat-up and cool-down within the working temperature range from â91 to +250°C as well as an immediate control of exothermic and endothermic reactions.
The typical applications include control of jacketed reactor vessels,
reactor systems, pilot plants and reaction blocks as well as polymerization, polycondensation, distillation and synthesis chemistry. The water-cooled unit offers a heating capacity of 6 kW as well as a cooling capacity of 5 kW at +20°C, 4 kWat 40°C, 2.5 kWat â60°C and 0.6 kW at â80°C. The circulation pump is electronically adjustable and reaches a flow rate of 24 to 35 l/min resp. a pressure of 0.8 to 2.2 bar. With the intelligent ICC cascade temperature control rapid results with high precision are reached.
The temperature stability is between +/-0.05 and +/-0.2°C. For time and
temperature depending processes there is an integrated programmer with 6x60 program steps.
Additionally the system has a closed tempering circuit, here the advantages are a reduced oxidation and a longer lifetime of the bath fluid â unpleasant odours and vapours do not get outside. Further features are an RS232/RS485 interface, a connection for external Pt100 sensor, an early warning system for temperature limit values as well as a keypad, which is divided into two, with VFD- and LCD display for user input.
