G.A.S (Global Analyser Solutions), the Netherlands offers full PIONA analysis using single column GC/MS analysis. Because of the simplicity of the instrument, uptime is very high and maintenance is easy. The results are fully compatible with the multi column analyser method. This analyser offers additional advantages: it has a much shorter runtime, high olefin content is analysed with excellent precision and individual components are reported as well in addition to group information. The method is based on a standard quadrupole GC/MS system that can be used for other applications as well.
