A new Vision to appear at PEFTEC 2019
Apr 30 2019
Grabner Instruments is presenting its Vision platform at PEFTEC 2019. During the session on Wednesday May 22, Room 7, 11:00 at Ahoy Rotterdam Convention in Rotterdam, Netherlands, lab managers can learn about the advantages of using Industry 4.0-ready instruments and software-supported analysis.
With the Vision platform, Grabner Instruments sets new standards for the connectivity of laboratory equipment. The standard of design is used in the FTIR fuel analyser MINISCAN IR Vision and in the vapour pressure tester MINIVAP VP Vision, increasing the instruments’ ruggedness and resistance to shock.
The MINISCAN IR Vision measures more than 100 different diesel fuel, jet fuel and gasoline parameters. One of the fastest FTIR analysers currently available in the market, MINISCAN IR Vision was developed with fuel blending, quality inspection and specification compliance at the point of sale in mind. Pre-loaded at the factory with a worldwide database of fuels, Grabner FTIR analyser measures in accordance to ASTM D1655, D5845, D6277, D7777, D7806 and to EN 238, EN 14078 specifications.
The MINIVAP VP Vision offers an extended pressure range of 0 to 2000 kPa without compromising precision. Long-term testing has demonstrated an unmatched repeatability of less than 0.2 kPa. Thanks to 2D-Calibration Correction Field (273 points) and exact piston positioning, MINIVAP VP Vision delivers accurate and precise results over the full measuring range. Grabner best-in-class vapor pressure tester design also minimizes cross-contamination and is also fully compatible with COCKPIT PC Software for Vision analysers.
COCKPIT Software for Vision analysers offers the utmost in flexibility. Lab managers use the PC software to consolidate measurement results and statistics from multiple locations in one central lab. By taking advantage of a direct Ethernet or a LIMS-connection, COCKPIT builds a bridge between the lab and Grabner vapor pressure testers in the field. Access via VPN tunnel adds an extra layer of security to the data transfer between analysers and COCKPIT software.
Grabner offers COCKPIT Software for Vision analysers under a progressive licensing. A free-of-charge copy of the software ships with every MINIVAP VP Vision analyser. Premium versions with expanded capabilities can be bought via Grabner sales representatives.
